179/366 - playing poohsticks on the way home
Somewhere, I remembered reading that C.S. Lewis wrote all morning and took a long walk to the pub every afternoon. We thought that sounded like a fine way to spend a few summer days, so yesterday we got our home work done early and tied on our shoes for a trek into town. It's about a 5 mile walk to the local pub (aka bento joint) and we timed it perfectly. Just when we got back home, the skies opened up and poured. Perfect setting for afternoon tea and a nap.
There's a bit about Lewis' routine as a young student here: Daily Routines: C.S. Lewis
